Big Surprise Debut On WWE NXT This Week

WWE NXT opened up this week with a fierce falls count anywhere match. That ended with Swerve Scott picking up the big win, but he also had some huge help in the process.

Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott picked up the win this week as Leon Ruff took a big dive onto AJ Francis, and he was caught. Francis then sent Ruff down across the barricade where he suffered quite a bump.

After that win, Scott took off with his new stable surrounding him. He was flanked by Francis, Briana Brandy, and Ashante Thee Adonis.

WWE locked down trademark for “Top Dolla” this last week. That is a nickname that Francis is known by. It appears that he will be using that in NXT.

AJ Francis, a former NFL player, has been part of WWE’s Hidden Treasures series on A&E. He was part of the April 2019 class for the WWE Performance Center as well.
