WWE Locks Down Interesting New NXT Superstar Name

WWE’s quest to lock down every name that appears on their television programming continues. Now they have locked down a new name for an NXT Superstar who could do a lot with their new moniker.

Heel By Nature reports that WWE locked down a trademark for “Top Dolla” on April 27th. This filing was then registered into their official database on April 30th.

Top Dolla is likely the new name for AJ Francis. He tweeted out a photo of himself recently with the caption: “I make Top Dolla.” This is a nickname he’s used for a bit, and now it appears to be his WWE name.

The new filing is for entertainment services which stretches the gambit of all uses typically filed with pro wrestling names. We will have to see how long it takes for Top Dolla to start making his mark in the black and gold brand.
