May 12th will be a huge night for AEW Dynamite. Jon Moxley will defend the IWGP United States Title for the first time on AEW programming. His opponent will be the Legendary Yuji Nagata.

Moxley and KENTA had some dealings on AEW Dynamite to hype their title match. AEW did not air that title match on their show. This time AEW will host the New Japan title match.

This is a match that Jon Moxley said that he wanted, but few thought it could happen. AEW was able to make this work and they are allowing the IWGP Title to be defended on their flagship television show. It appears that the “Forbidden Door” is opening even further.
