The show opens up with a video package looking at the Great American Bash.
Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then welcomes us to NXT and we see the arrivals of Mason Rook, Naraku, Kendal Grey, Wren Sinclair, Kelani Jordan, Tatum Paxley and ZARIA.
Fraxiom then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar follow.
Tag Team Match: Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) vs. “Supernova 11” Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno
The match starts off with Axiom and Noam Dar and Dar hits Axiom with a shoulder tackle. Dar then hits Axiom with a takedown. Axiom then fights back with a dropkick. Romeo Moreno then comes in and Nathan Frazer gets the tag. Both men then lock up and Moreno hits Frazer with a knee. Dar then enters the fray, but Frazer hits him with an enziguiri. Axiom then dropkicks Moreno, sending him to the outside. Moreno then hits a missile dropkick to Frazer. Moreno then flies over the top rope, wiping out Fraxiom. Dar then heads to the top rope and hits a moonsault.
Back in the ring, Dar hits Axiom with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Axiom then fights back with a dropkick of his own and Frazer is now the legal man. Frazer then snaps Dar’s neck before tagging in Axiom. Frazer then hits Dar with a kick for another near fall. Frazer then applies a side headlock on Dar. The NXT Universe then tries to rally behind Dar and Frazer knocks Moreno off the apron. Axiom and Moreno then come in and Moreno hits a German Suplex on Axiom and follows it up with a dropkick for another near fall. Dar then applies an armbar to Axiom. Frazer then hits a splash to break the hold.
Fraxiom then hits a suicide dive to Moreno and Dar. Back in the ring, Axiom hits a missile dropkick with an assist from Frazer for a near fall. Frazer then takes Moreno out on the outside. Dar then superkicks Axiom. Dar then applies an ankle lock. Moreno then joins him in a double ankle lock. Moreno then hoists Axiom up, but Axiom hits him with a kick. Frazer then hits a superplex. Axiom then accidentally superkicks Frazer and Dar and Moreno hit a double team move. Fraxiom then hit a double superkick on the outside. Axiom then hits the Golden Ratio. Frazer then follows it up with a Phoenix Splash for the win.

After the match, Axiom and Frazer offer their hands to Moreno and Dar. Frazer then says Dar might have found a tag team partner and Dar agrees.
We then see Wren Sinclair and she tells Kendal Grey she can’t go out there tonight and she won’t be a distraction. Wren then says she is going to talk about a new Speed Tournament. Lola Vice then shows up to talk to Kendal. Lola then wishes Kendal luck and says she didn’t mean to hit Kendal last week. Kendal then says one time is an accident, but this happened the second time. Kendal then says she will deal with Lola after she beats Kelani Jordan tonight.
We then see Naraku and Mason Rook in the backstage area.
We then see Sarah Schreiber previewing the first-ever Mr. NXT Pageant and Schreiber introduces Aaron Rourke, Kit Wilson and Matt Mathews as the judges. The first category is attire and they will show off three pieces of attire. Matt says he appreciates Tristan from the neck down, but he liked Shiloh. Kit then says Shiloh is tacky. Kit then tells Tristan he didn’t like him, he loved him. Aaron then says he loves Shiloh’s choices, but he has to go with Tristan.
Mason Rook then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Naraku follows.
WWE NXT Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Naraku vs. Mason Rook
The match starts off with both men locking up and Naraku applies a side headlock, but Mason Rook hits him with a shoulder tackle. Rook then hits a splash on Naraku in the corner and he follows it up with a senton for a near fall. Naraku then bodyslams Rook, sending him to the outside. Rook then drags Naraku to the outside, but Naraku sends Rook into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Naraku pounds away at Rook. Naraku then hits a series of chops. Rook then gives Naraku a taste of his own medicine. Naraku then applies an armbar, but Rook fights out of it. Rook then hits a big spinebuster to Naraku for a near fall.
Rook then hits a chop, but he misses a senton. Naraku then hits a neckbreaker to Rook for a near fall. Both men then trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Both men are mow up on the top rope. Rook then hits a super powerslam to Naraku from the top rope for a near fall. Both men then exchange strikes in the middle of the ring. Naraku then hoists Rook up and drops him to the mat for a near fall. The NXT Universe then erupts with “This is Awesome” chants. Naraku then hits a clothesline and he follows it up with a snap suplex for another near fall. Rook then hoists Naraku up on his shoulders, but Naraku applies a Sleeper Hold. Rook then sends Naraku into the corner and hits him with a Cannonball. We then see Kam Hendrix on the apron. Rook then drops him off the apron and Naraku gets a pin for the win.

We then see Tavion Heights and Myles Borne in the lounge and Tavion says he wants a rematch. Myles then says it was just a one time thing because he has to defend the title at Great American Bash. Tavion then says maybe he should face Myles for the title and Myles likes the sound of that. Jackson Drake then shows up and he says it is nice that Myles is giving out title matches to friends like a charity case. Tavion then tells Jackson if he wants his, then they can meet next week and the winner faces Myles at the Bash. Myles then wishes him good luck.
We then see Kendal Grey walk in a warehouse and Wren Sinclair wishes her luck.
We then see Tate Wilder and he says he lives for the rush and he is all about adrenaline. Wilder then says if there is a thrill on this Earth, he will seek it out. Wilder then says you call him crazy, but so does everyone else. Wilder then says whenever he is on NXT it is balls to the wall because you never know when the last risk will happen.
Kelani Jordan then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Kendal Grey follows.
WWE NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Match: WrenQCC’s Kendal Grey vs. Kelani Jordan
The match starts off with Kendal Grey wasting no time in taking an early advantage and attacking Kelani Jordan. Grey then hits Jordan with a dropkick. Jordan then corners Grey and hits her with a chop. She then runs into an elbow. Jordan then targets Grey’s lower back. Grey then fights back with a hurricanrana and she follows it up with a big running uppercut. Jordan then sends Grey over the top rope and to the floor. Jordan then hits a neckbreaker on the outside. Back in the ring, Jordan continues the beatdown on Grey. Jordan then hits a leg drop. Grey then tries to fight back, but Jordan takes her out with a flying clothesline and another neckbreaker for a near fall.
Jordan then applies a Sleeper Hold on Grey. Jordan then follows it up with an elbow strike and a leg drop for a near fall. Grey then tries to fight back, but Jordan sends her to the outside with a shoulder tackle. The fight then spills to the outside and both women are down following a collision. Back in the ring, both women go back and forth with a series of rights. Grey then hits a series of elbows and she follows it up with an overhead belly-to-belly toss. Grey then hits a back-to-back suplex to Jordan. Jordan then tries to use ring ropes, but the referee catches her red-handed. Jordan then locks Grey in with a crossface.
Grey then hits a German Suplex to Jordan for a near fall. She then heads to the top rope and launches herself, but Jordan catches her with a superkick. Jordan then follows it up with a cutter. She then hits a Frog Splash for another near fall. Grey then cinches in an armbar on Jordan. Jordan then breaks the hold and she applies a Dragon Screw. Grey then applies an ankle lock, but Jordan fights out of it. Grey then hits Jordan with a Shades of Grey for the win.

It is now time for round two of the Mr. NXT Pageant with the special talent segment. Shiloh is going to solve a Rubik’s Cube. Tristan then interrupts Shiloh’s second talent attempt and he tries to solve the Rubik’s cube himself, but he fails. Tristan then does some juggling and Shiloh rides past him on a unicycle and he does some juggling.
We then see Blake Howard and he is with WWE NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo. D’Angelo gives props to Naraku, but says he doesn’t get Naraku. D’Angelo then promises to walk in and out of the Great American Bash as the NXT Champion. Naraku then shows up and he gives D’Angelo an envelope. Naraku then bows and walks away. D’Angelo then opens the envelope and a symbol is on the card in the envelope.
Jasper Troy is now in the ring for the next match of the night and Dion Lennox makes his way down to the ring with Osiris Griffin.
Singles Match: WWE LFG season one winner Jasper Troy vs. DarkState’s Dion Lennox
The match starts off with Jasper Troy sending Dion Lennox to the outside. Back in the ring, Troy hits a shoulder tackle to Lennox and he follows it up with a big bodyslam for a near fall. Lennox then fights back with a back elbow. Troy then goes for a Chokeslam, but Lennox chops him down. We then see Saquon Shugars appear via the big screen and he tells Lennox to watch his back. The fight then spills to the outside and Troy continues his beatdown on Lennox. Back in the ring, Troy takes Lennox out with a clothesline and he follows it up with a powerslam for another near fall.
Lennox then tries to fight back with a series of rights. Troy then hits a big headbutt and he follows it up with a shot in the midsection. Troy then drives his shoulder into the midsection of Lennox. Lennox then hits a big kick on Troy to regain control. Lennox then hits a powerslam to Troy. Troy then hits Lennox with a World’s Strongest Slam. Troy then misses a splash from the top rope. Osiris Griffin then causes a distraction, allowing Lennox to get a pin for the win.

After the match, Saquon Shugars is back on the big screen. Shugars says he didn’t know that Dion Lennox had it in him. Shugars then says it is a shame that Cutler isn’t here. The message then buffers and Shugars hits Osiris Griffin from behind with a baseball bat before Lennox figures out what is happening and Shugars retreats to the crowd.
We then see footage of Jaida Parker attacking Nattie at the Dungeon.
We then see Sarah Schreiber in the ring with Shiloh Hill and Tristan Angels for the final category of the first-ever Mr. NXT Pageant, which is the public speaking part. Sarah asks them to explain why they think they should be Mr. NXT. Tristan says it’s a pressure and responsibility suitable for only one man. Tristan then calls himself the most handsome man in England. Tristan then says he has represented England in International Pageantry. Tristan then says he has tattooed Mr. NXT on the back of his leg to celebrate his birthday tonight.
Shiloh says he has never really done anything like this before. Shiloh then says he thought the toughest thing was where would he find a monocle. Shiloh then says he feels like a different person every week. Shiloh then says it is hard to figure out who he is. Shiloh then says he is trying to figure out who he is and that is what NXT is all about. Shiloh then says as long as you are willing to roll with the punches, adapt and hit back harder. Shiloh then says that is why he should be Mr. NXT.
Matt then says he is impressed with how Shiloh has remained himself. Matt then says his hair earlier was doing nothing and Tristan is still doing nothing for him. Kit then says he has to applaud his vulnerability and Shiloh is toxic. He then tells Tristan he is toxic, but there is something about him, whether it is the long blonde hair or the accent but it does something for him. Kit then says Tristan is his pick. Aaron then says he loves that Shiloh is authentic. Aaron then says Tristan looks the part. Aaron then says he will leave the decision up to the fans. The fans then vote for Shiloh. Tristan then attacks Shiloh while the sash is put on Shiloh. He then goes to the floor and hits Shiloh with a chair. Tristan then hits a knee drop into the chair.
We then see Naraku and he says he has protected Tony D’Angelo and the title and now it is time they go to war. Robert Stone then asks Naraku what was in the box. Naraku says it is an invitation. Keanu Carver then shows up and Stone tells them not to let that happen. Carver then asks why are people getting a shot before him. Stone then tells Keanu to wait until next week to figure out who his opponent is. Keanu then says if Stone doesn’t make the decision, he will.
We then see Izzi Dame freaking out over being added to the Women’s Speed Tournament. Shawn Spears then says he got herself in. Spears then says he wants to give Dame another title shot now that Kendal Grey is next in line for the NXT Women’s Championship. Izzi Dame will face Thea Hail. Niko Vance then admits it’s not a bad idea, but promises to be there for her. Dame then says she appreciates Spears.
ZARIA then makes her way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Tatum Paxley follows.

The match starts off with ZARIA going for an F5, but Tatum Paxley counters with an inside Cradle. ZARIA then hits Paxley with a Spear for a near fall. The fight then spills to the outside. ZARIA then hits a clothesline. ZARIA then sends Paxley into the barricade and into the ring post. Back in the ring, ZARIA goes for a cover, but Paxley kicks out at two. ZARIA then tosses Paxley across the ring. Paxley then tries to fight back, but ZARIA hits her with a German Suplex. ZARIA then drives her shoulder-first into the post. Paxley then stomps on ZARIA and she follows it up with a moonsault.
Back in the ring, ZARIA continues the beatdown on Paxley. ZARIA then hits a knee for a near fall. Paxley then hits a flurry of offense, but ZARIA overpowers Paxley once again. She then runs into a big boot. Paxley then hits ZARIA with a DDT. Paxley then hits an enziguiri. She then follows it up with an overhead kick on the back of ZARIA’s neck for a near fall. ZARIA then hits another German Suplex to Paxley and she follows it up with a headbutt. Paxley then counters ZARIA’s Spear with a double stomp to the spine. She then heads to the top rope and goes for a 450 Splash, but ZARIA catches Paxley with a Spear for another near fall.
Both women then trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Paxley then hits ZARIA with a superkick. She then heads to the top rope, but ZARIA cuts her off. Both women are now on the top rope. Paxley then hits a coast-to-coast on ZARIA for a near fall. Paxley then goes for a Cemetery Drive, but ZARIA counters. ZARIA then goes for an F5, but Paxley intercepts and hits her with a kick. The fight then spills to the outside and ZARIA hits Paxley with an F5 to the floor. Back in the ring, ZARIA hits Paxley with another Spear. ZARIA then hoists Paxley up and hits her with an F5 for the win.

After the match, ZARIA celebrates her victory and stands tall as the show comes to a close.
