WWE and Peacock’s deal apparently came with a scan for politically incorrect content. They have found some more things that did not hold up well at all as time went on.

Peacock has edited a few segments so far, and now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that they have edited out some old Goldust content as well. It was noted that segments where he wore black makeup are now getting the chop.

Peacock and WWE Network are evidently editing out segments from the late 90s with Goldust wearing black paint on his face

Peacock edited out Vince McMahon using the n-word with John Cena, DX impersonating the Nation of Domination, and Roddy Piper vs Bad News Brown from WrestleMania XI. We’ll have to see what they edit out next, but it’s likely that they won’t have to look far to find something offensive in they’re going through WWE’s catalog from the 90’s.
