WWE is on the road to WrestleMania. They are also pretaping RAW and SmackDown before the show of shows. This will allow them to move the ThunderDome and get ready for the grandest stage of them all.

The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal has been a staple during WrestleMania for years. They planned on doing one this year, but this year will be a bit different.

Adam Pearce tweeted out to announce that next week’s episode of SmackDown will include a WrestleMania edition theme with the Andrade The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and more.

Per @ScrapDaddyAP, next week we’ll see a special #WrestleMania edition of SmackDown on FOX with the ‘Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal’, a Fatal 4-Way for the SmackDown Tag Titles, and we’ll hear from @WWERomanReigns, @EdgeRatedR, & @WWEDanielBryan!

It sounds like WWE is pulling out the stops on the road to WrestleMania to get attention. This is also interesting because it might mean that the Andre The Giant memorial battle royal will not take place this year at WrestleMania.
