WWE NXT Superstar Receives Super High Marks Backstage

It takes a lot of work to get noticed in WWE’s NXT brand. Plenty of people are fighting hard for only a few spots, but one particular star has received some attention.

According to Fightful Select, Desmond Troy, formerly Denzel Dejournette, has received some very high marks backstage in the black and gold brand. It is said that Troy has a “great attitude” and he has been open to criticism.

As Desmond Troy continues filling in holes in his pro wrestling game, he is eager to learn more. It was reported that he understands his spots at this point in his career and he needs to make his opponents look good. This is something he more than realizes.

Troy was also featured on recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown as one of Apollo Crews’ guards.

It was said that WWE has so much faith in Troy that they had him work with Jinder Mahal in one of the Modern Day Maharaja’s only matches since his injury.
