WWE and AEW had to nix all events and touring when the pandemic swept the globe. New Jersey is preparing to welcome back fans to events, but on a limited basis.

The New York Times reports New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy announced a plan to allow a small number of fans at professional and college sporting events. This new plan will start on March 1st.

Venues with a capacity of over 5,000 will be allowed to have a small percentage of fans allowed into indoor events, around 10%. Outdoor events will be allowed to have a 15% capacity. This is a small step, but it is a step in the right direction nonetheless.

Neither WWE or AEW have announced any new events in New Jersey, but this certainly opens the door for that possibility in the upcoming months.
