Cody Rhodes Claims He Will Beat Peter Avalon In Less Than Sixty Seconds

AEW recently announced that Cody Rhodes will be squaring off against Peter Avalon in a singles match on the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite.

Ahead of his match against Avalon, Cody Rhodes took to Twitter and made a bold declaration. Rhodes said that he will beat Peter Avalon in less than sixty seconds.

“I’m gonna’ beat him in probably less than 60 seconds, so second by second is an accurate metric.”

Peter Avalon decided to respond to Rhodes’ tweet, where he noted how people have been thinking they will compete in a ‘squash match’ and uploaded a picture of an actual squash match.

People keep saying something about a “squash match” for next week. You really want to watch @CodyRhodes & I play this instead of wrestle?

Cody Rhodes would certainly be familiar with squash matches, as he was defeated by Brodie Lee in under a few minutes for the TNT Championship last year.
