WWE’s Plans For New Television Content Isn’t Happening So Soon

WWE will begin filming content for NXT India next month. There are some plans that could possibly see a two-night special kick off the new brand. Fans might need to wait longer for those other shows to premiere.

The company has plans in the works for a second NXT television show. Triple H was working on budgets to see what they can figure out. There are also early plans for Lucha Libre show.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that plans for a new NXT expansion show and the Lucha Libre shows were mentioned months ago.

in hearing from people in WWE regarding talks of all of these shows the response is people have heard vague stuff about it months ago, like an idea that’s been talked about. With COVID, these expansions, which were not coming all that quickly to begin with, are probably even farther off

We’ll have to see what happens next in this situation. WWE obviously has things in motion for new television content. It might take a little bit longer than some fans initially thought for all of those new shows to debut.
