Sting came out and he had a face-to-face with Arn Anderson. The Enforcer said that he knows Cody has an agenda, and he doesn’t know Sting’s, so Arn Anderson showed himself out.

Tony Schiavone and Sting hugged. Then Sting got Tony to yell: “It’s Sting!” That was a great moment.

Cody said he’s been waiting to share a ring with Sting for a long time. Then Sting said he’s not there for Cody, “at least right now.”

The Icon said that there is something “really familar with this place” as he pointed to Darby Allin sitting up in the bleachers with the TNT Title. This was an apparent tease for something with Allin.

Sting said he’s back on TNT, and he got “welcome back” chants. Then Sting said “the only thing that’s for sure about Sting is that nothing is for sure, except that I am officially with AEW and I plan on being close to the AEW fans and in this promotion for a long time.” Then he got “welcome home chants.”

“See ya around, kid,” Sting said after grabbing Cody for close a one-armed hug. This segment left us with a lot of questions, but they definitely teased a lot of things.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
