WWE has few brands that they need to consider on a weekly basis. NXT doesn’t need as much help backstage as Raw and SmackDown, but they just got a big addition to their crew.

According to PW Insider, Sonjay Dutt is now working full-time for the WWE NXT brand. He was hired in January around the same time as Abyss in a WWE producer role.

The 38-year-old Dutt has a lot of experience around the pro wrestling world, and much of that was attained outside WWE. His veteran knowledge will now help Superstars on the black and gold brand plan out their matches.

As we previously reported, Shane Helms was brought back to WWE as part of the Raw brand. It was alluded to that Helms will replace Dutt as he makes his way to NXT on a full time basis.

Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
