WWE decided to make several cuts when the COVID-19 pandemic swept the country. They furloughed 9 producers, and they have brought a couple of them back. Now Shane Helms has returned as well.

According to PW Insider, Helms returned to the company this past weekend. He was a producer on the RAW brand this week as well.

Helms joins other names that the company brought back since the pandemic cuts. Some received calls that they were no longer needed. WWE cut a vast majority of staff associated with live events.

The company didn’t need as many producers when live touring was cut as well. Shane Helms was brought back to the RAW brand, and now he will continue there until further notice.

This is interesting timing as he just made a cameo at AEW Full Gear during the Elite Deletion match at the Hardy Compound. Tony Khan also said that he would love to have both Helms and Gangrel back.
