The Undertaker admitted prior to his Final Farewell that he had no idea what WWE had planned for him. It turns out that some fans were disappointed by the highly-hyped segment, and they’re not alone.

The Godfather seemed to agree with some fans who were not necessarily blown away by the 2020 Survivor Series closer. This was a segment that saw a ton of entrances followed by Vince McMahon introducing the Deadman. Then Taker gave his Final Farewell.

The BSK had a special get-together on the night prior to Survivor Series. The Godfather uploaded a couple of those photos and some fans took this opportunity to share their true feelings about the Undertaker’s Final Farewell.

One fan commented to ask: “What was the point of having you all there and say nothing. It was awesome to see you back on TV but I wanted more” The Godfather replied to this question with his own opinion of: “could’ve been written better,”

Another fan wrote a much longer comment where and said that WWE brought in all of Undertaker’s old friends just so they could have them come to the ring. This fan called The Undertaker’s send-off “embarrassing” after admitting that they are a lapsed fan who tuned in to see Taker’s farewell. They concluded their criticism by saying: “This was LAZY and uninspired. Seeing you all hang out at the hotel would have been more entertaining.”

Godfather replied by saying, “Well said. And you right the night before was epic.”

The Undertaker received a legendary send-off, and it was the best WWE could offer without any live fans in the ThunderDome. Nobody could have predicted that The Undertaker’s career would end in such a way, but The Godfather, and others likely wish that WWE would have given The Undertaker’s Final Farewell a bit more thought.
