The pro wrestling world lost a great influence on so many when RJ Meyer passed away after battle with leukemia. The pro wrestling world reacted after his passing, and Lio Rush, man who Meyer trained spoke out as well.

Rush debuted a new submission finisher recently and he named it after Meyer, who was better known as Bruiser to so many. The Man of the Hour also had a chance to show off this new move in a little video as the caption introduced his new finisher to the world.

New finisher alert and just like that he taps. #Bruisemission in tribute to my late and great trainer #TheBruiser

The Bruiser is gone, but his memory will live forever. Lio Rush certainly hasn’t forgotten about everything RJ Meyer did for him, and now he has a finisher named after him to prove it.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
