Dana Warrior Explains Why Asuka Reminds Her Of Ultimate Warrior

The Ultimate Warrior is sadly no longer with us, but his spirit will live forever. Dana Warrior is still behind the scenes in WWE as a member of the writing team, and she really enjoys this opportunity to watch the Superstars of today who will make a big impact for years to come.

While speaking to WWE The Bump, Dana Warrior listed off some Superstars who have her attention. She loves Drew McIntyre’s Scottish character and how he derives such power from his ancestors, especially with that new sword entrance gimmick.

Dana Warrior then briefly mentioned Asuka, and she said that the Raw Women’s Champion reminds her of the Ultimate Warrior. This is not only due to her warrior spirit, but also her unique promos.

“I also love to watch Asuka. Asuka is someone who is so colorful in many regards. She reminds me a lot of the Ultimate Warrior because you don’t always have to understand what she’s saying to understand that she’s a fierce warrior.”

Dana Warrior is still with WWE on their creative team as she helps put together the company’s weekly programming. She also sees a little bit of her late husband in Asuka because of the warrior spirit that resides in the Empress Of Tomorrow.
