AEW is making plans for their future, and that includes signing people they want to use down the line. All Elite Wrestling has something special in store for Red Velvet, and they officially have her under contract.

During AEW Unrestricted, Cody Rhodes discussed two stars that AEW will make a big part of their second year. In the process, Aubrey Edwards confirmed that one of them has signed with AEW which Cody was unaware of.
“Anna Jay’s going to be a huge part of year two — Red Velvet [too] I don’t even know if Red Velvet works here yet.”
Aubrey Edwards, who works in the AEW front office, confirmed that Red Velvet has signed with AEW. She then said “that might be breaking news.”
Brandi Rhodes and Anna Jay do have plans to collide sometime in the near future. Rhodes’ recent alliance with Red Velvet is also likely to continue as AEW has also secured Velvet to a deal.
