WWE Called Lana To Clash Of Champions But Never Used Her

WWE held Clash Of Champions on Sunday, but they didn’t use everyone they called for the pay-per-view. It’s unclear why WWE didn’t use Lana, but the Ravishing Russian was there and ready to work.

Miro and Lana are still married despite what WWE did with them on television. He revealed on recent Twitch stream that the company had his wife come to the Amway Center for Clash Of Champions Gold Rush, but she never appeared on screen.

The former Rusev said: “CJ had to go to the pay-per-view but then they didn’t use her.”

WWE needed to fill some holes in the show when the Women’s Tag Team Title match was scrapped and an alternate situation was devised for the SmackDown Women’s Title match. They still apparently didn’t need Lana’s services even though she made the trip to the ThunderDome.
