Miro Reveals Inspiration Behind Changing Accolade Finisher To The ‘Game Over’

Miro was released from WWE, but he didn’t seem too torn up about it. He is now in AEW, and reinventing himself in the ring. That includes renaming a couple of his names because WWE owns the intellectual property.

The Accolade is now the Game Over. We’re still waiting to see what Miro names his Machka Kick but he did do it on Dynamite. The name Game Over has an interesting back story.

During his Twitch stream, Miro revealed that he named the Accolade to Game Over as a tribute to the Street Fighter movie. Specifically, it was in reference to Raul Julia from the film.

In case you need a refresher, you can check out a clip below to see what Miro was talking about. Street Fighter The Movie might not be on a ton of people’s favorite movies list, but Miro is obviously a fan.
