The coronavirus pandemic is not over, and although the world is opening up slowly that doesn’t mean things are totally safe. Indie wrestler Benjamin Carter revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-19. He had some cool opportunities lined up within the next few weeks, but those have to be cancelled.

Carter, who trained at Seth Rollins’ Black & Brave Wrestling Academy posted on Twitter to let fans know about his current situation. He claims not to be sick, but he can’t taste things right now. He also recently appeared for AEW.

Man. You literally can’t write it. After this Tuesday I was on an all time high… and to be honest, I kinda still am. The outpouring of support recently has been utterly mind blowing and I can’t thank everyone enough.

Having said that, I had some really cool things lined up in the coming weeks that I now have to back out of. All of which really stings.

But hey, I feel fine. I guess I don’t really taste my food as much as I normally do, but I feel fine. For now anyways.

Our thoughts are with Benjamin Carter and everyone else dealing with this terrible virus. He is not alone. Both WWE NXT and AEW reportedly had issues in the past week with COVID-19 cases coming up on their rosters.
