WWE is always looking to bring up their viewership numbers. They are really going for it next week on RAW.

Drew McIntyre will face Keith Lee in a singles match. That isn’t likely to end clean since Randy Orton is around. A champions vs champions tag team match is booked. Dominik Mysterio will take on Seth Rollins once again, but this time it will be in cage match. Asuka is also set to put her RAW Women’s Title on the line against Mickie James.

Dave Meltzer explained during Wrestling Observer Radio that the NFL is back. This is why WWE is loading up the show like that.

“They’re going really hard on Monday with another cage match. This time with Seth Rollins and Dominik Mysterio. Keith Lee and Drew McIntyre are doing a match which is so premature because they’re going against the NFL.”

WWE hasn’t been keen on announcing many matches ahead of time. This week’s RAW didn’t see any matches announced until an hour and a half prior to the show going live. Click here for our exclusive information on when Vince McMahon actually got around to reading the script for this week’s show.

The fact that WWE announced FOUR matches for RAW during SmackDown this week is certainly a sign that they see the benefits of announcing their card in advance.
