Impact Wrestling brought several former WWE Superstars to the company at Slammiversary. Eric Young debuted in the fatal 4-way for the Impact Wrestling Title. This didn’t result in a big win for Young, but that changed tonight.

EY defeated Eddied Edwards during Impact Wrestling’s show this week. He is now the Impact Wrestling World Champion.

Young scored this big win with a piledriver after he hit Edwards with a hockey mask while the referee was distracted. Eric Young then attacked Eddie Edwards and the referees and security ran down to keep him from destroying Edwards’ knee.

This marks Eric Young’s 3rd reign as Impact Wresting World Champion. He is also a 2-time X-Division Champion.

It seems that Eric Young’s return to Impact Wrestling is working out just fine for him.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
