According to PW Insider, fans will soon know what the plans are for McIntyre’s WWE Title. He is out of action with a kayfabe injury, but the plans tonight call for RAW to revolve around picking a new #1 contender
The current plans for tonight’s Monday Night Raw revolve around determining the challenger for WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at the 9/27 Clash of Champions PPV.
Randy Orton is the obvious choice for Drew McIntyre’s next opponent, but he might have to wrestle for it. This could be an interesting situation as The Viper is coming off a loss to Keith Lee at Payback.
