Sonya Deville avoided tragedy when her alarm was sounded and a man named Philip Thomas II made his way into her home. She was not alone either as Mandy Rose was staying with her at the time.

New court documents reveal just how obsessed this stalker was. His Twitter account was recovered and you can see that here. His DMs showed a much darker side underneath the super fan exterior.

It was explained that Deville has her Twitter settings so that she only sees certain direct messages. She never saw the messages from Thomas, but he sent them for five years. Those messages started as simple enough, but evolved into wanting to meet Sonya Deville and then things got even more threatening from there.

Due to her online settings, messages from non friends are sent to a folder, and are generally not read by Mrs. Berenato. Research of this folder and others developed multiple messages from the defendant, up to 5 years, in which the defendant expressed his desire to meet with the victim, expressed his obsession with the defendant, of a progressively more threatening manner. The defendant had attempted to contact Mrs. Berenato on multiple social media platforms over the course of years and had become increasingly more agitated when the victim did not respond. At least one of these messages was made while walking to the house, or the lanai or patio itself.

Thankfully, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose are okay, but things could have been a lot worse for them. The police did their job and took care of Thomas. Now Deville has an injunction on her stalker and he remains incarcerated as he awaits pre-trial hearing set for Thursday.
