WWE brought up a few NXT Superstars to the main roster, but they never debuted. It appears as if the company will start implementing them into the picture. That doesn’t mean they are signed.

According to Fightful, recent WWE call-ups haven’t received new contracts. A lot of them are working lighter scheduled than they were in NXT prior to the pandemic.

It is reported that “the topic of extending the contracts or offering new ones will likely be broached when things ‘return to normal.'” This is regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The company isn’t looking to spend more money despite their incredibly strong 2nd quarter profits. As of right now the company has zero idea when they will get a live event schedule underway once again. Once that happens they will have a better idea of what kind of schedule outside television they are looking at.
