Nick LoPiccolo found himself in a situation that sounds unreal—he unknowingly drove off in John Cena’s Escalade after mistaking it for his own.

While speaking on BodySlam.net’s podcast with Famous Davis, LoPiccolo was talking about life around top WWE talent and how chaotic things can get after events. That’s when he shared a story about leaving a show where multiple identical vehicles were parked in the same area, setting up a mix-up he didn’t catch until it was too late.

He explained that everything looked exactly the same, so there was no reason to second guess getting in and driving off.

“I accidentally took John Cena’s Escalade… I swear to God. Same color, same everything… same exact Escalade. I get in, I’m driving, I leave… I’m gone… and then I get a call like, ‘Where are you?’ and I’m like, ‘I’m in the car.’ And they’re like, ‘That’s not your car.’ I’m like, ‘What are you talking about?’ And they’re like, ‘That’s Cena’s Escalade.’ And I’m like, ‘What?!’ I literally took John Cena’s Escalade by accident… same exact car, same everything… I had no idea.”

The situation only worked because both Escalades were identical in every way—same model, same color, same setup. There was nothing that would’ve tipped him off until someone else noticed and made the call.

What started as a routine exit turned into LoPiccolo unknowingly driving away in one of the biggest names in wrestling’s SUV, with no clue anything was wrong until he was already gone. At the end of the day, it wasn’t intentional—but accidentally taking John Cena’s Escalade is the kind of story that sticks.

Do you think you would’ve realized you were in the wrong car before driving off, or would you have made the same mistake in that situation? Let us know your thoughts below.
