AJ Styles Wants To Wrestle In WWE NXT Before He Retires

AJ Styles got to jump over NXT when he signed with WWE. After jumping right from NJPW to WWE, a lot of fans wonder what an NXT run would have been like for the Phenomenal One.

WWE obviously made the right decision by letting AJ Styles skip NXT. There are others that the company could arguably have done the same for, but they didn’t. AJ Styles got to jump NXT because he didn’t have any time to waste.

While hanging out on his Twitch stream, AJ Styles said that he would love to get down to NXT before he retires.

The great thing about NXT is, you know, I wouldn’t mind going down there and wrestling NXT guys because there are so many different matchups that we could get. I want to be able to do them before I retire, too. So who knows what we’ll get next.

AJ Styles has talked lot about retirement recently. He still has a long way to go, but he’s always looking toward the future. That retirement talk also came with a wish to wrestle Edge before both men hang up their boots for good.
