Brian Pillman Jr wants out of Major League Wrestling, but they’re not picking up his calls.

Pillman Jr, son of the late great Brian Pillman appeared on AEW Dark, but he’s still under MLW contract. As he explained to Wrestling Inc, his MLW contract only restricts him from appearing for WWE and NXT.

MLW apparently hasn’t spoken to Pillman Jr in a while as well. He keeps trying to get his release from the company, but it has yet to happen.

“OVW has never been restricted to me and neither has AEW. I haven’t heard from MLW in a while – I used to talk to them all the time but they don’t answer my phone. I’m sure they’re cool and there’s no hard feelings. I guess everything’s that been said has been said and they told me I’m free to chase opportunities outside. I think my contract restricts WWE and NXT and that’s it. They know that I know what I’m not allowed to do and sooner or later I’m sure we’ll try to come to an agreement where MLW can release me.

MLW has not held any shows during the coronavirus pandemic. Court Bauer did tease that something is coming “very soon.” The problem with that is that their contracted stars are sitting at home and not getting paychecks.

We’ll have to see if MLW finally lets Brian Pillman Jr go. It’s very likely he will have no problem finding somewhere else to work.
