WWE really wants to put on a special show for SummerSlam. August 23rd is coming up sooner than some might think and it will be here before we know it. Vince McMahon doesn’t have much time to get things ready.

We previously reported that Vince McMahon is looking at Atlantic City, New Jersey for the biggest party of the summer. There is a chance that there will be fans in attendance as well.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that bringing fans in for SummerSlam is “key” for Vince McMahon. If the company can arrange some kind of fans to be in attendance in New Jersey they are going to make it happen.

A social distancing event might only have around 2,000 tickets available. That amount of tickets would sell out in no time, even with short notice. It was also noted that the company might not sell tickets. They could be given out to friends and family in that area.

There are a lot of dedicated WWE fans in the New York and New Jersey region. The company has fans who have followed them to WrestleMania events and Madison Square Garden shows. We’ll have to see if any of those die-hard fans get a call about SummerSlam.
