AEW Not Featuring Women’s Cup Tournament On Dynamite

AEW will hold a Women’s Tag Team Tournament, but the matches won’t be a part of Dynamite.

The company is airing those tag team tournament matches every Monday on YouTube. They will begin at 7:00 PM and finish right before RAW starts.

Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that AEW is testing the waters with this kind of tournament. If it does well then it could be an annual event.

It was also noted that All Out is coming up soon. AEW only has a few hours for Dynamite and Dark every week. If it draws great numbers on YouTube then they could decide to air the Women’s Tag Team Tournament on TNT. Until that day comes they will air it during a very unique spot..
