Edge injured his triceps while taping the Greatest Wrestling Match Ever at Backlash. He’s not done with Randy Orton yet, but he needs to heal up first.

During WWE The Bump’s “Bumpy Awards,” Edge and Orton won for that Backlash match in the category of “Best In-Ring Match of the 1/2 Year.” Edge showed up via Zoom to accept the award. He was quickly asked about his recovery progress.

Edge showed off his gnarly surgery scar. “So here it is,” he said before providing an update. He can almost bend his arm at this point, so the healing is taking place. He still has a lot of time to work off this injury as he continues to rehab following surgery.

He said he can “almost straighten” his arm now, and that’s it. Edge didn’t provide any kind of time table about when he will be back in the ring. At least he was in good spirits.

A WrestleMania encounter is waiting for Edge when he does return. WWE already has Edge vs Randy Orton on the WrestleMania line-up. That is the only match that the company is currently planning, but as we exclusively reported that wouldn’t be the case if Vince McMahon listened to Paul Heyman.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
