Clarification On Undisputed Era’s Rumored WWE Main Roster Call-Up

Adam Cole lost the NXT Title to Keith Lee at The Great American Bash. Karrion Kross seems to be moving in as Lee’s next opponent leaving Adam Cole without an apparent direction. This situation got the rumor mill churning.

There is a report out there saying that the Undisputed Era were “offered a spot” on the WWE main roster. That is not how things work when it comes to a call-up.

Ringside News asked a source in the company about this report and the term “fake news” was used in the reply we received. It was also made abundantly clear that nobody gets “offered a spot” on the main roster from NXT.

It was further explained that nobody is “offered a place” on the main roster. A source in the company told us that “you don’t get ‘offered a place’ you get your assignment and you carry out the assignment.”

The Undisputed Era signed new long-term deals last year. They have done a lot on the NXT brand, and Adam Cole’s recent NXT Title loss is interesting. If they eventually get a main roster call-up it won’t be because they accepted it.
