Keith Lee picked up the biggest win of his career so far when he defeated Adam Cole at the Great American Bash. That big win secured the NXT Title making him a double champion, but a lot of fans knew it was happening.

A leaked photo of Lee came out during the tapings. WWE tried to sweep it under the rug, but the spoiler was quite unavoidable. Being The Elite even ripped on it.

While he spoke to Talk Sport, Keith Lee addressed that spoiler photo. What made him sad about the whole situation was that some fans tried to ruin the surprise for others.

“For those people that think that they’ve unloaded some big mystery or something is one thing, but the only thing that makes me sad in the scenario is how many of them are trying to ruin it for other people, because there is the potential for it.”

Keith Lee stated that he doesn’t know if the leaked photo changed things. He was very happy that so many fans were excited for his big win even before it aired.

“And then for the people that don’t want that potential spoiler or whatever it may be, it’s not fun for them either. To me, it shows me how uncool some people can be, but at the end of the day, you don’t really know what’s happening until it happens and that’s just the truth of the matter. So if they feel righteous in their activities, then hey, good for them. The people that have to look at that, they aren’t having fun. And I think they should consider them before anybody else in this situation.”

NXT fans will now get to bask in a double champion’s glory. Keith Lee’s name has never been bigger in WWE. Odds are it will grow in popularity and respect even more as the years go by.

Spoilers in pro wrestling are unavoidable, especially when so many events are prerecorded. At least Keith Lee was able to understand the situation because it didn’t take anything away from how he viewed his own big win.
