WWE featured a segment a couple of weeks ago that was very interesting indeed. Sheamus demanded that Jeff Hardy take a drug test before their match could happen. He ended up with a face full of pee instead.

A lot of fans wondered who was responsible for that segment. Obviously, Vince McMahon loved it because it made it on WWE programming. Fightful reports who was responsible for putting it all together.

It is reported that D-Von Dudley acted as producer for that segment. A writer named Zach Hyatt and another unnamed “road writer” were responsible for penning the segment as well.

In case you were wondering, the now infamous segment featuring Jeff Hardy tossing a jug full o’ piss on Sheamus’ face was produced by D-Von Dudley and written by creative writer Zach Hyatt. There was also a road writer involved that we couldn’t identify. The segment had originally called for the doctor to be named “Dr. Kirshenbuam,” but it was never referenced on commentary for whatever reason.

The pee throwing segment actually seemed like a direct recycling of an older Shawn Michaels bit that they did years ago. You can click here to check out the undeniable similarities all the up to the final line: “it’s better to be pissed off than pissed on.”

Fox didn’t appreciate the pee throwing angle too much. They edited it out of the West Coast feed of SmackDown. They also edited out the second use of the word “piss” for the East Coast broadcast.
