Jimmy Uso suffered an unfortunate knee injury. He required surgery, and he will be out for at least six to nine months as first reported by Ringside News. What is to come with his twin brother Jey?

WWE typically benches an entire tag team when the other member of the team is injured. The exception is, of course, in an example like The New Day. When Xavier Woods went out of action the team continued as a duo.

The company needs veteran performers right now. The Usos are arguably one of the best, if not the best tag team on the planet, but only one of them is medically cleared.

Ringside News has learned that no decision has been made yet in Jey Usos’ situation. At this time it is still “being discussing among Vince [McMahon], Bruce [Prichard], Ed Koskey, and Ryan Ward.”

WWE’s top creative brass is currently kicking around ideas about what to do about Jey Uso. The team just returned from a long hiatus a few months ago, and now Jimmy Uso is off television.

Another issue might come in the fact that Jimmy Usos has the higher profile presence. His featured role alongside Naomi on multiple seasons of Total Divas has given him a bit more attention through the years.

The Usos did wrestle in singles matches recently with the tag team titles on the line. Those matches were created due to an unconventional situation. The Miz showed up to WrestleMania, and he displayed enough symptoms of COVID-19 that they didn’t let him wrestle. The Miz is fine now with no signs of illness, but WWE wasn’t taking any chances. This is the situation which led to Roman Reigns making the decision to skip Mania this year.
