Brisco broken his silence via Twitter. He wanted to make it clear that he was furloughed and not released as first reported.

He is responsible for bringing many names into WWE from amateur wrestling. He has an eye for scouting talent and can’t wait to get back to helping young athletes achieve their dreams.

What a writer made a mistake, to set things right. I have not been let go yet I’ve been placed on furlough don’t know who leaked the wrong news. I hope get back to helping young folks find there dream. If not it been on heck of a run #cantkeepawrestlerdown

Hopefully, it won’t be very long until Gerald Brisco and everyone else who was furloughed will be able to come back to WWE. This is a hard time for a lot of people, and everyone is making tough decisions right now. It’s good to see that nothing is keeping Gerald Brisco down.
