WWE Reveals Superstars In NXT Cruiserweight Title Tournament

WWE needed to strip the NXT Cruiserweight Title from Jordan Devlin. He couldn’t make the flight back to Orlando due to current world events. That means a new interim champion must be crowned.

The company revealed that round robin tournament will begin soon. This is not typical for WWE, but this isn’t an ordinary situation at all.

WWE has now revealed the first block of competitors in the NXT Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.

Group A will consist of Kushida, Drake Maverick, Tony Nese, and Jake Atlas. More competitors will be announced eventually.

The Irish Ace wasn’t happy at all about losing his title. He said that whoever wins the interim title will be holding a fraud belt because he has the real one. Odds are Jordan Devlin will want first crack at the new champion whenever he is able to catch a flight.
