WWE Strips Champion Of Title — Tournament Announced

WWE had to make a difficult decision and now a champion lost his title. Jordan Devlin was WWE NXT Cruiserweight Champion, but the Irish Ace just lost his title due to current world circumstances.

William Regal revealed on WWE The Bump that Jordan Devlin can no longer defend the WWE NXT Cruiserweight Tile. Due to current circumstances with travel bans he can not make the trip back. Now the WWE NXT Cruiserweight Title is vacant, but Regal has a solution.

A tournament was announced to crown a new WWE NXT Cruiserweight Champion. The participants in this tournament were not revealed at this time.

As I just announced on @WWETheBump, we will soon begin a tournament to crown an interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion as the current champion, @Jordan_Devlin1 is unable to compete due to the situation in the world.
