Jim Ross had conversation with Tony Khan about the risks associated with traveling during the novel coronavirus pandemic. It was determined that JR is too valuable to AEW. Ross might have stayed home, but his voice will be on AEW Dynamite this week.

Jon Moxley and Jake Hager will do battle inside an empty arena next week. They won’t be in QT Marshall’s gym, but familiar voice will be on commentary. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that AEW is mixing in Jim Ross’ commentary that he provided from home.

Jim Ross will be used as the commentator for this specific match, doing voiceovers from home, as it will be from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville while the rest of the show next week will be from Decatur, GA.

Tony Schiavone and Chris Jericho did a lot of commentary work from AEW’s undisclosed location. Tony Khan praised Chris Jericho for the hours he sat in and did announcing work. Jim Ross might not be on every episode of Dynamite in the next month, but at least his voice will provide the soundtrack for Moxley vs Hager.
