WWE needed to figure out a new filming schedule during the novel coronavirus pandemic. This is an issue that is still causing WWE to change up their taping plans.

We previously reported that WWE is planning to run live SmackDown this week and a live RAW next week. Fightful Select reports that WWE has informed Superstars that they will be taping several shows in a row.

The current plan is to film three episodes of SmackDown, three episodes of RAW, and a few episodes of WWE NXT. They will start the taping on Friday and film throughout the following Thursday.

As far as we’ve heard the tentative plan is to film three episodes of Smackdown, three episodes of WWE Raw, and multiple episodes of NXT starting this Friday, and going through the following Thursday. We’ve heard the idea of some episodes being live has been tossed around but isn’t a certainty.

It is reported that there is still a consideration to run live episodes during that time as well. Nothing is a guarantee because you never know how bad this pandemic can get overnight. WWE is currently planning to get about a month’s worth of television nailed down within the next week.
