WWE Makes Big Change To WrestleMania Title Match

WWE had to make several changes to WrestleMania along the way. They also needed to switch up one match on the day of shooting.

The company filmed WrestleMania last week. The Miz showed up and he wasn’t feeling well, so he was pulled from the SmackDown Tag Team Title match. WWE isn’t taking any chances about coronavirus.

It was officially confirmed on WWE The Bump that the WrestleMania match is now a triple threat ladder match with John Morrison vs Kofi Kingston vs Jimmy Uso for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

After last night’s #SmackDown melee, @mikethemiz is now unable to compete at #WrestleMania.

The #TagTeamTitle #TripleThreat #LadderMatch is now @TheRealMorrison vs. @TrueKofi vs. Jimmy @WWEUsos!

They blamed the melee on SmackDown for The Miz being pulled from the match. No mention was made to him feeling under the weather.
