Vince McMahon Upset About Coronavirus Disrupting WrestleMania Plans

WWE is a big company and it takes quite a few people to keep it running. It can be possible to live in the pro wrestling bubble, but that makes the shock so much more serious when the real world invades.

The coronavirus situation is being felt around the globe. WWE had to alter their WrestleMania plans in a big way, but they didn’t reschedule the show of shows.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that there are people in WWE who are legitimately upset that the coronavirus altered their plans. It apparently has little to do with the tragic events going on, but the fact that it messed with the show of shows.

“There’s people there [in WWE] that are not living in the real world and they’re really upset apparently that the real world is infringing on their fake world. I mean we’re all upset about it, but you just roll with it.”

WrestleMania carried on with the event even though they needed to change many things along the way. The company is still expected to announce more changes.

There was reportedly only one person in the company who wanted to carry on with WrestleMania plans. That man was Vince McMahon and his opinion is the only one that matters in WWE.
