John Cena didn’t wrestle in one WWE pay-per-view last year. He no-showed the Royal Rumble, but fans should be ready to see him at WrestleMania.

John Cena said months ago that he wants a substantial role at the show fo shows this yea. It appears his upcoming SmackDown appearance will kick that off. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Cena’s role at WrestleMania role this year is a lock.

Cena returns on the 2/28 Smackdown show and has already said he’s free to wrestle at WrestleMania. Cena’s role is said to be locked in for the show

John Cena will be appearing on SmackDown one day following the Super ShowDown. There are two huge matches that WWE is reportedly considering. Cena could go after his 17th major title win in WWE as he faces Bray Wyatt, or he might be next for Goldberg.
