WWE ‘Blew Off’ Plans For Longer Title Feud

WWE has a lot of things they need to get in place for WrestleMania. We’ll see what happens on the road to the show of shows, but Braun Strowman became champion along the way.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Shinsuke Nakamura’s feud with Braun Strowman for the IC Title was originally supposed to be a much longer program. Now it seems as though the company “blew that off.”

“Strowman and Nakamura was supposed to be a long program and they blew that off right away.”

We’ll have to see what’s next for the Monster Among Men. His first singles title in WWE was a very big deal for him. WWE also doesn’t have a tendency to keep championships on babyface for long.
