The Creed Brothers were wrestling on WWE television just a few weeks ago, but now something pretty weird has happened with their status. Julius and Brutus Creed are showing up in the Alumni section of WWE’s website, and right now there’s no clear explanation for why.

There has been no confirmed announcement that either brother has been released or left WWE. That makes the Alumni listing interesting, but it’s not enough on its own to say the Creeds are officially gone.

The timing is especially strange because Julius and Brutus were still being used regularly in recent months. After spending part of the summer working Main Event, the brothers returned to NXT and defeated Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno on September 8.

They then entered the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and defeated Harley Riggins and Jax Presley in the first round on September 22. Their tournament run ended on October 20 when Hank Walker and Tank Ledger beat them in the quarterfinals.

That means the Creeds were still wrestling on NXT less than three weeks before this Alumni-page situation popped up. It’s been a pretty wild WWE run for the brothers overall. Julius joined WWE in 2020, with Brutus following in 2021, before they became part of Diamond Mine alongside Ivy Nile and quickly established themselves as one of NXT’s top tag teams.

Their breakout came in 2022 when they won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They followed that by defeating Pretty Deadly at NXT In Your House to become NXT Tag Team Champions. Julius and Brutus eventually moved to the main roster alongside Nile in 2023. They later joined Chad Gable as part of American Made and remained part of the RAW roster before their WWE journey took a much stranger turn in 2026.

The brothers even got dragged into the El Grande Americano madness, working under masks as Bruto Creedo and Julio Creedo. They also competed in AAA before eventually returning to NXT and getting another run as the Creed Brothers.

Now, just weeks after their latest NXT match, both brothers appearing in WWE’s Alumni section has suddenly put their future under a microscope. It could simply be a website issue, or it could signal something more significant, but until WWE or the Creeds actually confirm their status, there’s no reason to declare them gone just yet.
