Matt Hardy lost a match to Erick Rowan this week on Raw. This is a spot usually reserved for local competitors. A lot of fans were tweeting about this when Hardy lost on Raw in such a way.

Hardy noticed all of the attention he received. He tweeted out to thank fans for helping him trend in the #17 spot worldwide.

It is very hard to trend worldwide for anything on Twitter. If WWE doesn’t pay attention to the reaction that Matt Hardy gets from fans perhaps the next pro wrestling company he inks a deal with will care.
