Edge Reportedly Signs New WWE Contract For In-Ring Return

Edge hasn’t wrestled in a very long time, but he also admitted that he could work match tomorrow. We’ll just have to see what 2020 brings.

PW Insider noted that they have heard that Edge signed a new WWE contract. The speculation is that the Rated R Superstar will be returning to the ring before WrestleMania to set up a program.

We’ve heard that Edge signed a new deal with WWE that has a pretty nice upside. 

My gut feeling is we’ll see Edge in the Royal Rumble as a surprise (as that seems like the perfect place to make a big splash with a return for Wrestlemania season) and possibly even see him do a few matches on major events.

Edge was spotted in Pittsburgh recently where he was said to have been on “WWE business.” Pittsburgh is also the home to WWE’s head physician. Many speculated he was looking to get clearance.

We have heard that Edge is on a WWE wish list for WrestleMania as well. It sounds like that WWE is way closer to getting Edge to make return to the ring than they are CM Punk.
