Sin Cara was released from WWE last weekend and he made a very surprising appearance last night at AAA event. Apparently, that wasn’t okay with Vince McMahon’s company.

Dave Meltzer reports that AAA did not have any kind of deal worked out with WWE to use the Sin Cara name. At this time it’s unknown if there are plans on WWE’s side to go after AAA or Sin Cara.

Regarding Sin Cara using that name in AAA last night at Guerra de Titanes, there was no deal worked out with him or WWE to be allowed to use the name. He was on a 90 day non-compete.  We’ll see how this transpires.

This is a very interesting situation. If WWE doesn’t go after AAA and/or Sin Cara one might be led to believe this could open the door for repeat situations like this in the future.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
