WWE’s Reported Plan For Becky Lynch At Royal Rumble

The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is coming next month. After TLC it will be the next pay-per-view event and the first of the new decade. WWE has a plan for Becky Lynch and it seems to be pretty solid at this point.

Lynch complained recently about being left off of RAW. This came around a time when WWE was gearing up for Survivor Series. There was really no place for the RAW Women’s Title on the show due to the non-title match build.

WWE has two WrestleMania options for Becky Lynch. If Ronda Rousey can’t make comeback then Shayna Baszler will reportedly fill that role. Rousey is currently most likely to win the 2020 Royal Rumble match with Baszler very high up in the odds as well.

Wrestling News reports that in the meantime, WWE will put Becky Lynch versus Asuka as they roll into the Royal Rumble.

Before that match happens, Lynch is scheduled to take on Asuka at the Royal Rumble with the story being that Lynch has never been able to pin Asuka.

WWE is already heating up a feud between The Man and the Empress Of Tomorrow. If Becky Lynch can knock off Asuka on her way to WrestleMania 36 it could also tell a full circle story. Asuka retained the SmackDown Women’s Title over Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble this year.
