ROH books some big venues for their shows, but they can’t fill them. This has been an issue since The Elite left their company and they have yet to rebound.

ROH pay-per-views are not selling well at this point, let alone getting people to buy a ticket for a show. Now Joey Mercury is releasing more communications with ROH management to get some real discussions going about how Ring Of Honor does business.

In this conversation with Greg Gilleland, Flip Gordon was thrown under the bus in a big way. Flip apparently texted Mercury asking why ROH was booking such large venues if they can’t fill them. Then Mercury was asked why Flip can’t draw. It was then proposed that ROH go back to smaller productions and buildings so they can do away with larger salaries.

You can check out the conversation below. This is just another piece of the puzzle that continues to be made showing that ROH might not be the company it used to be.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
